His second record, "New Way Home", featured here, showcases the many sides of this versatile musician.

"This album is a body of work. You can't just listen to one track, because the first track draws you into the next one. This is a terrific record! The production is stellar, the sound is clear, and the tunes are programmed perfectly. I've been listening to New Way Home in the car for five days, which for me is about ten times through the album. It's still fresh! If you like Steely Dan, or The Impressions, or John Sebastian, or The Boss, you 'do' need this record! Rob's' "boss" on the road is Peter Frampton, who also makes an appearance (I still remember Peter's concert at Hyde Park a long time ago). Rob is a musician's musician, multi-talented, dedicated to his art, and always in the pocket! For me, records that 'last' in my mind, always make me smile. This album makes me smile a lot!"  - Don Powell

Rob Arthur - "New Way Home".  The second solo record from Peter Frampton's keyboardist features a reinvented version of the Daniel Moore / Three Dog Night classic, "Shambala", featuring Frampton playing his signature lyrical lead guitar throughout, with background vocals by Jason Scheff (Chicago's lead vocalist).  From "blue eyed soul" to rock and roll, Rob delivers 11 songs that highlight the range of Arthur's songwriting talents.  Also, he collaborates with Grammy winning songwriter, Gordon Kennedy, with Peter Frampton, Damon Johnson, and Arthur's longtime collaborator, Gary Sieger (Donald Fagen).  And featuring the world class talent of musicians such as Frampton, Charley Drayton, Will Lee, Vinnie Colaiuta and Joan Osborne
